A day in the life of Whitney Hahn is anything but slow as she works her side-hustle, turning thrift store finds into online sales. As the founder of Twice Better, a website for those searching for the perfect outfit at a great price, she searches for the best deals around, sharing them with a growing community. “It’s all in the buy. Finding the deal is so fun…but sharing that outfit or shirt or shoes with someone else and seeing how excited they are about it? Whether they wear it on their first date, ‘Sweet 16,’ or ‘21 Run,’ that’s fulfilling.”
To have a side-hustle, one must have a “day job.” For Whitney, that is as a Marketing & Sales Consultant for start-ups. “I like the challenge. I like to help other people and other companies pursue their dreams.” There’s a lot going on in Whitney’s life, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
With two careers creating long days, Whitney still lives at a fast pace, pursuing hobbies that fit an overachieving lifestyle. She runs to and from thrift shops, not only to limit her purchases, but also to force herself to focus on really good deals. These runs have also helped Whitney prepare for her first marathon in October, and has pushed her to find even more success doing what she loves.
Crediting her entrepreneurial spirit to her father, Whitney continues to work harder, get better, and chart her own path. “Don’t let anybody else tell you what you need to do, or what you want to do. Just figure it out. Keep testing and trying until you find something you really like, and just go all in on it. Master it.”
