Sr. Influencer & Partnership Marketing Manager

Essentia Water, the #1 supercharged ionized alkaline water in the premium bottled water category, is looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our growing marketing team. The Sr. Influencer & Partnership Marketing Manager, based in our Bothell, Washington corporate office, is a key member of the marketing team, reporting directly to the Director of Public Relations & Influencer Marketing. In this role, the manager will be on point to develop overarching strategy and oversee execution of all influencer & partnership marketing efforts, support the Director with PR initiatives, work with cross functional groups within the organization as well as with external agencies on campaign efforts. This individual will need to stay abreast of competitive and consumer trends, and identify new opportunities that will help grow the brand.

This role demands a strong, creative leader well versed in all aspects of influencer & partnership marketing with additional knowledge in public relations strategies and tactics. In this role, the Sr. Manager will identify and manage both a paid and an “in kind” program with high profile influencers relevant to our millennial and Gen Z target audience. They’ll drive and manage strategic partnerships with bloggers or other corporate partners, and support how the brand comes to life through sponsorships & promotional activity. Last and important, we are looking for an individual who is a die-hard sports fan (knows sports inside and out), is passionate about the entertainment industry and is a health & fitness minded individual who wants to help people improve their lives through better rehydration.

Responsibilities

  • Help drive strategy & execution of Essentia’s influencer marketing program.  Manage the program on a day-to-day basis and track results to determine ROI and impact against KPIs
  • Identify and partner with top tier influencers (athletes, celebrities, plus other category experts) to drive awareness of the Essentia brand through social and media channels, event marketing and PR efforts
  • Drive and develop partnership campaigns with brand partners or promotional efforts relevant to the target audience
  • Provide Public Relations program support (as assigned) by the Director of Public Relations & Influencer Marketing
  • Execute creative and content requirements with in-house and agency teams related to campaigns and individual projects
  • Execute necessary logistical planning required for celebrity/influencer relationship management and/or sponsorships execution and events participation
  • Analyze, measure and report on results from influencer and Partnership marketing efforts
  • Influencer & Partnership Marketing overall budget oversite and management
  • Approximate time: task allocation:
    • 25% strategic
    • 45% executional
    • 10% Agency oversight & day-to-day management
    • 10% Tracking, analytics & insights
    • 10% budget management and reconciliation

Qualifications

  • BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field; MBA is a plus.  Experience working on consumer lifestyle brands
  • Proven track record (4+ years’ experience) driving influencer & partnership marketing successes showcasing strategic, creative, effective thinking that drove brand awareness through coverage in PR, social media and event marketing activities
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the sports and the entertainment industry. In touch with who or what are driving trends
  • Experience marketing to the millennial and Gen Z audience
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and measurement approaches
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Bias toward action and strong sense of urgency
  • Executional excellence that showcases exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong skills in analytics and developing reporting models
  • Strong interpersonal skills that foster teamwork, build confidence and support for one’s ideas

  • Experience in an entrepreneurial environment is a plus
  • Passionate about the health & fitness and beverage category
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Infographics
  • Ability to work during some evenings and weekends may be required for press tours or events
  • Ability to travel across the U.S. as needed
