Essentia’s proprietary process results in electrolyte-enhanced, optimum alkalinity with the ideal pH of 9.5 (+/–*). Most bottled water has a basic pH of 7.0 or below. That means it doesn’t absorb into your body as easily, and therefore, doesn’t provide the superior hydration you get with Essentia.
Here's how we do it:
We take water, from any supply, through a process of microfiltration, reverse osmosis and ultraviolet exposure to achieve a purity of 99.9%.
We then remove the bitter-tasting (low pH) acidic ions, resulting in high pH base (alkaline) water that provides superior hydration and tastes great. Ionic separation involves electrically charging the water through a process called electrolysis, which separates the acidic and base ions.
We infuse trace amounts of electrolytes in a formula that complements your body’s naturally occurring mix and concentration. Electrolytes are minerals dissolved in the body that conduct electricity (such as calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium).
*The Essentia production protocol produces water with a pH range between 9.2 and 9.8: stabilizing at 9.5 (+/-) for a two year shelf life.
